Digital Assets Risk Disclosure
Effective date: 23 August 2026 | Version 1.0
Read this disclosure before using any Digital Assets service
Digital Assets involve substantial risks and may lose some or all of their value. Transfers may be irreversible. Titan provides technology and access to services delivered through approved third-party providers; regulated or specialist functions may be performed by those providers under their own terms. You should transact only if you understand and can bear the risks described below.

1. Purpose and scope
This Digital Assets Risk Disclosure explains material risks associated with Digital Assets services made available through Titan websites, applications, interfaces or integrations. It applies in addition to Titan's Website Terms of Use, Regulatory & Partner Disclosure, Privacy Policy, applicable product terms and the terms of the relevant service provider.
This Disclosure is general and cannot describe every risk. A risk may arise suddenly, several risks may occur together and controls intended to reduce risk may fail.
2. Titan's role and third-party providers
Titan Global Technologies Limited ("Titan", "we", "us" or "our") is a financial-technology provider. Depending on the product and jurisdiction, Digital Assets conversion, transfer, settlement, custody, wallet infrastructure, liquidity, identity verification or transaction monitoring may be supplied by separately regulated or specialist partners.
Unless a product-specific agreement expressly states otherwise, Titan does not itself take custody of customer Digital Assets or private keys. The partner identified in the onboarding flow or product documentation may hold or control assets and may make independent decisions about onboarding, transactions, limits, suspension, freezing, reporting and termination.
Regulation, registration, audit or certification of a partner does not eliminate operational, custody, market, cyber, legal or insolvency risk and does not guarantee recovery of assets.
3. Nature of USDT and stablecoin risk
Titan may support transactions involving USDT on approved networks. USDT is issued and administered by a third party independent of Titan. It is not issued, guaranteed or redeemable by Titan.
A stablecoin is designed to reference another asset, but stability is not guaranteed. USDT may trade above or below one US dollar and may lose value because of market stress, loss of confidence, liquidity constraints, redemption restrictions, reserve shortfalls, issuer or counterparty failure, operational events, fraud, regulatory action or changes in law.
Digital Assets are not bank deposits with Titan. Unless a provider expressly confirms otherwise in binding product terms, do not assume that deposit protection, a compensation scheme, government backing or insurance applies.
4. Issuer, reserve and redemption risk
The value and usability of USDT depend in part on the issuer's reserves, governance, banking and custody relationships, redemption arrangements, disclosures, solvency and continued operation. Titan does not control these matters and does not independently guarantee the accuracy, completeness or continued availability of issuer information.
Direct redemption rights, minimum amounts, fees, eligibility and processing times may differ from the ability to convert USDT through a service partner. A market price near one US dollar does not guarantee redemption at that amount or at any particular time.
5. ERC20 and TRC20 network risk
USDT may be supported on Ethereum as an ERC20 token and on TRON as a TRC20 token. These are separate networks and are not interchangeable merely because the asset name is the same.
  • You must select the exact network supported for the transaction and use a compatible destination address.
  • Sending USDT on the wrong network, to an incorrect or incompatible address, or through an unsupported smart contract may cause permanent loss.
  • Network congestion, validator or infrastructure outages, protocol upgrades, forks, attacks and changes to confirmation requirements may delay, fail or reorganise transactions.
  • Network charges may change without notice. Ethereum gas fees and TRON energy, bandwidth or related fees are determined by third-party networks and may be substantial.
  • Titan or a provider may suspend deposits, withdrawals or settlement on one network while another remains available.
6. Irreversible transfers and address errors
Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible after submission or confirmation. Titan and its providers may be unable to cancel, recall, reverse or recover a transfer sent to the wrong address, over the wrong network, in the wrong amount or to a fraudulent recipient.
Displayed wallet names, copied addresses and QR codes can be altered by malware or address-poisoning attacks. Always verify the full address, network and amount through an independent channel. Where appropriate, use an approved address list and send a small test transaction first.
7. Custody, wallet and private-key risk
A custodian or wallet provider may use hot wallets, cold storage, multi-signature arrangements or other controls. No method provides absolute security. Risks include cyberattack, key compromise or loss, software defects, insider misconduct, fraud, incorrect access controls, service interruption, insolvency and disputes over legal ownership or recovery.
If you use a self-hosted wallet, you are responsible for private keys, seed phrases, access credentials, backups and device security. Loss or disclosure of these credentials may result in permanent loss. Titan will never ask for your private key or seed phrase.
8. Counterparty and partner risk
A provider, issuer, liquidity source, custodian, bank, network operator or other counterparty may fail to perform, become insolvent, lose a licence, restrict withdrawals, suffer a cyber incident or cease supporting a service. Assets may be delayed, frozen, disputed or unrecoverable.
Different providers may be used by jurisdiction, customer type, currency, corridor or network. Their protections, fees, liability limits, complaints processes and regulatory status may differ. You should review the legal identity and terms of the provider before using the service.
9. Liquidity, conversion and settlement risk
A quoted or displayed price may change before execution. Conversion may be affected by spreads, slippage, available liquidity, market volatility, order size, network charges, partner fees, bank cut-off times and compliance review. 'Real-time' or estimated settlement descriptions are not guarantees unless expressly stated in a binding agreement.
During market stress, a provider may widen spreads, reduce limits, pause trading or transfers, reject an instruction or be unable to source liquidity. Partial execution, delayed settlement or total failure may occur.
10. Legal, regulatory and jurisdiction risk
The legal and regulatory treatment of Digital Assets differs across jurisdictions and may change quickly. A service lawful or available in one place may be restricted or prohibited elsewhere. Website availability does not mean that a product may lawfully be offered to every person or in every country.
Titan or a provider may require identity or business verification, beneficial-ownership information, source-of-funds or source-of-wealth evidence, sanctions screening and ongoing transaction monitoring. A transaction or account may be delayed, rejected, restricted, frozen, reported or terminated to comply with law, regulatory direction, court order, sanctions, partner policy or risk controls.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use is lawful and permitted in your location and for your customer type, business activity and transaction purpose.
11. Cybersecurity, fraud and scam risk
Digital Assets are frequently targeted by phishing, impersonation, fake investment or payment requests, account takeover, SIM-swap fraud, malicious software, compromised devices, fraudulent applications, fake customer support and social-engineering attacks.
  • Confirm instructions and beneficiary details using trusted contact information.
  • Do not share passwords, one-time codes, private keys or seed phrases.
  • Use strong unique passwords, multi-factor authentication and secure devices.
  • Treat urgent requests, guaranteed returns and requests to bypass controls as warning signs.
12. Technology, smart-contract and operational risk
Blockchains, tokens, smart contracts, APIs, nodes, cloud services and partner systems may contain defects, vulnerabilities or design limitations. Software updates, protocol changes, forks, consensus failures, corrupted data, inaccurate balances, connectivity failures or incompatible integrations may interrupt service or cause loss.
Planned or emergency maintenance, cyber incidents, power or telecommunications failures, provider outages and events beyond reasonable control may make an account or transaction unavailable. No platform can guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
13. Forks, airdrops and unsupported assets
A blockchain fork, token migration, airdrop or similar event may create competing assets or require operational changes. Titan and its providers may decide whether and how to support such an event and are not obliged to support, distribute or credit a new or replacement asset unless required by binding terms or law.
Do not send an unsupported asset, token standard or network to an address made available through the platform. Unsupported transfers may not be detected, credited or recoverable.
14. Tax, accounting and professional advice
Digital Assets transactions may create tax, accounting, reporting, record-keeping or other legal obligations. Treatment varies by jurisdiction and circumstances. Titan's general information is not investment, legal, regulatory, accounting or tax advice. Obtain independent professional advice before transacting.
15. Business-user controls
Business customers should maintain proportionate internal controls, including authorised-user limits, dual approval, address whitelisting, segregation of duties, independent verification of beneficiary details, daily reconciliation, incident escalation and secure retention of transaction records.
You are responsible for users acting through your account and for reviewing permissions promptly when personnel, devices or roles change.
16. Suspension and exceptional events
Titan or a provider may delay, refuse, suspend or cancel access or a transaction where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, legal, operational, liquidity or network reasons. This may occur without advance notice where immediate action is required. Restoration of access, transaction completion or recovery of value cannot be guaranteed.
17. Your acknowledgement
