1. About this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Titan Global Technologies Limited (“Titan”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit titangt.net or pages operating under that domain (together, the “Website”).
It should be read with our Privacy Policy and Website Terms of Use. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including information collected through Website technologies.
Titan Global Technologies Limited is incorporated in Hong Kong. Our registered address is Unit 1603, 16/F, The L. Plaza, 367–375 Queen’s Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on or accessed from your browser or device when you visit a website. Cookies can allow a website to recognise a browser, remember settings, maintain a secure session, measure performance or understand how pages are used.
Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage, software development kits, pixels, tags, scripts, device identifiers and other storage or access technologies. References to “cookies” in this Policy include these technologies where appropriate.
3. First-party and third-party cookies
First-party cookies are set by Titan or for the Titan domain. Third-party cookies or technologies are set or operated by another organisation whose service appears on or supports the Website, such as a hosting, security, analytics, communications, embedded-content or advertising provider.
A third party may process information under Titan's instructions or for its own purposes. Where it acts independently, its privacy and cookie notices will apply to its processing. A provider's use on the public Website does not mean that the same provider delivers Titan's regulated partner services.
4. Categories of cookies we may use
The categories below describe the Website's intended cookie framework. The cookie banner or preference centre should display the current technologies, providers and retention periods actually active on the Website.
| Category | Purpose | Control |
|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, fraud prevention, load balancing, network management, consent choices, form protection, session continuity and other functions required to provide the Website. | Always active; consent is not requested where the law recognises a necessity exemption. |
| Preferences / functionality | Remember language, region, accessibility settings, form choices or other optional features. | Used only where enabled and with consent where required. |
| Analytics / performance | Understand visits, page use, errors, traffic sources and performance so we can improve the Website. | Used only where enabled and with consent where required; configured to minimise data where reasonably possible. |
| Marketing / measurement | Measure campaigns, limit repeated messages or support interest-based marketing across sites or services. | Used only if Titan activates such tools and after consent where required. |
| Embedded content | Enable optional third-party media, maps, scheduling tools, chat or social features that may store or access information on your device. | Activated only when the feature is used and/or after consent where required. |
5. Information cookies may collect
Depending on the technology and your choices, cookies may collect or generate:
- IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address, browser type, device type and operating system;
- unique identifiers, session identifiers, consent records and security tokens;
- pages visited, links selected, referral source, timestamps, navigation paths and interaction events;
- language, region, display, accessibility and other preferences; and
- error, diagnostic, fraud-prevention, network and performance information.
Titan does not intend to store passwords, complete payment-card details, identification documents, wallet private keys or Digital Asset credentials in optional Website cookies.
6. Why we use cookies
We may use cookies to:
- provide, maintain and secure the Website and its forms;
- detect suspicious activity, prevent abuse and maintain audit or consent records;
- remember choices and provide requested functionality;
- measure Website performance and understand how content is used;
- identify and resolve errors and improve design, navigation and communications; and
- measure or personalise marketing only if such tools are activated and permitted.
7. Consent and legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies may be used without consent where they are required to transmit communications, provide a feature you request, maintain security or meet another applicable legal exemption.
Where applicable law requires consent, Titan will not activate non-essential cookies until you make an affirmative choice. The cookie interface should provide reasonably clear options to accept, reject or customise non-essential categories. Consent may be withdrawn as easily as it was given through the preference centre.
Where cookie information is personal data, the legal basis for related processing may be consent, performance of a requested service, compliance with law or Titan's legitimate interests in operating and securing the Website, depending on the technology, purpose and applicable law. More detail is provided in our Privacy Policy.
8. Cookie duration
Session cookies normally expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until deleted. Duration depends on purpose: security and consent records may need to persist, while analytics or preference cookies should be retained only for a proportionate period.
The current cookie banner or preference centre should state the name, provider, purpose and duration of each active non-essential cookie or similar technology. Titan will periodically review retention periods and remove technologies that are no longer required.
9. Managing your choices
You can manage optional Website technologies through the “Cookie Settings” or similar control made available on the Website. Depending on the tools in use, you may be able to accept all, reject all non-essential categories or make category-level choices.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser. Browser controls vary by provider and device. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause forms, security functions, login sessions or other Website features not to operate correctly.
Deleting cookies may remove a saved consent choice, which means the Website may ask you to make that choice again. A browser-level opt-out may not control every similar technology, such as local storage or mobile identifiers.
10. Global Privacy Control and browser signals
Where required by applicable law and supported by our Website technology, Titan will seek to recognise valid browser-based privacy signals, such as Global Privacy Control. Because legal requirements and technical support vary, you should also use the Website's cookie settings to record your choices.
11. Partner portals and external services
A link from the Website may take you to a portal, onboarding flow, application or service operated by a regulated or specialist partner. That provider may use separate cookies under its own privacy and cookie notices. Titan does not control cookies placed independently on a third party's domain.
KYC, KYB, payment, card, banking, remittance, foreign-exchange and Digital Assets partners may use security or compliance technologies within their own services. Those technologies are not necessarily cookies used by titangt.net.
12. International processing
Cookie providers may process information in jurisdictions different from yours. Where required, Titan will apply appropriate contractual, technical or organisational safeguards to international transfers. Independent providers remain responsible for their own transfer obligations.
13. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Policy when Website technologies, providers, legal requirements or our practices change. The revised version will be published with a new effective date. Material changes may also be highlighted through the Website or cookie interface where appropriate.
